SSQ season opens Sunday at the Fox with Haydn, Shaw, Dvorak

The Spokane String Quartet launches its 2018-19 season at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at the Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. The program includes works by Haydn and Dvorak, as well as Entr’acte by 36-year-old composer Caroline Shaw, who won the Pulitzer Prize for Music in 2013. Quartet members are Mateusz Wolski, violin; Jeannette Wee-Yang, viola; Amanda Howard Phillips, violin; and Helen Byrne, cello.
